What is a Certified Set?

Bricks and Minifigs goes above and beyond when it comes to helping people with their LEGO collections. We do all we can to help you have the most complete LEGO collection you can have. 

When it comes to used and retired LEGO sets, you want to know what you are getting, and that it is ALL LEGO (no off-brand parts), and that everything is there that is supposed to be there. That's why we CERTIFY sets. 

To certify a set, we make sure the set is clean, 100% all pieces present in the right color, every minifig and accessory, every sticker, and that the instruction booklet is there. We go even further and we re-bag in the original LEGO bag order, place the bags in a new box (if the original box is not available), and then label it with a CERTIFIED sticker. Inside your certified set, you will also find our personal touch, our certified set card signed by the employee who certified it!

What's the difference in a pre-owned set and a certified set?

When you buy one of our pre-owned sets, it will be pre-assembled, in as-seen condition. However, in most cases, the box and instructions may not be present. Fear not, most instructions are available online.

Pre-owned sets may also be missing a few parts. Sometimes a brick may be a different color, but still holds the design well. We do our best to communicate what we know about a set. We list the number of minifigs, the instruction, original box, years released and retired, and any additional information we know about the set. Pre-owned sets are priced accordingly. Pre-owned sets are a great way to purchase a set at an economical price and then if you find you're missing pieces, you can purchase bulk pieces to complete your new set. Pre-owned sets are also great for children who aren't builders but want to focus on the play.   

Certified sets will have all bricks, minifigs, stickers, and instructions in them. We guarantee it! If they don't, then WE will find the brick you need to complete the set. You won't have to spend time looking because we certified that set!
